I’m seeing pineapple everywhere and tropical flavors too in foods, beverages and more, so I touched base with our friends at Datassential to see what they were seeing.
“Almost all of the tropical fruit flavors are up on menus. Pineapple is actually on 62% of menus,” noted Mike Kostyo, trendologist, Datassential. “It’s the third most-menued fruit/fruit flavor after orange and lemon.” Datassential research shows pineapple ranks in the 84th percentile for future growth potential.
