By making ZYN available nationwide, Swedish Match feels it is delivering on a responsibility to offer the 34 million adult smokers in the U.S. an alternative to cigarettes. ZYN is a smoke-free, spit-free, tobacco-free nicotine pouch placed in the upper lip. It’s chemically the same as Nicorette chewing gum, and comes in two strengths (3 mg and 6 mg) to help nicotine users be mindful about their nicotine intake. Instead of inhaling or chewing, users place ZYN in their upper lip (much like snus, which is why there is no need to spit).
